Hosting Options
Rividor can be hosted in four ways. They differ in where your data lives, who runs the system day to day, and how much of that work sits with your team. Multi tenant is our standard service. The other three are available on request, and we scope and price them with you during implementation.
For each option below, you will find how it works, what Rividor takes care of, and what your team takes care of.

1. Multi tenantRecommended
The fastest, simplest option: you use the same Rividor cloud as our other customers, and we run everything.
How it works. All customers share one platform hosted by Rividor in US cloud regions. Your data is kept separate from every other customer’s by access controls enforced in the database itself, and it is encrypted in transit and at rest. Improvements and fixes reach you as soon as they ship, usually several times a week.
Good fit when you want the quickest setup and the newest features, and the data you plan to store does not carry export control or CUI handling requirements.
2. Single tenant (private Rividor cloud)
Your own private copy of Rividor, used by no other customer, still fully run by us.
How it works. We deploy a dedicated copy of the platform for you: your own database, file storage, servers and web address (for example example.rividor.com). It runs in its own isolated cloud account, which can be placed in a US government cloud region such as AWS GovCloud if your requirements call for it. It runs the same software as our standard service, and you have some flexibility on when updates are applied.
Good fit when you want your data physically separated from other customers, or need control over update timing, without taking on any infrastructure work. This option carries an additional annual fee to cover the dedicated infrastructure and its operation.
3. Managed on prem (your environment, run by Rividor)
Rividor runs inside your own cloud account or data center, so your data never leaves your environment, and our team operates it for you.
How it works. You provide the environment, for example your own AWS GovCloud account. You grant Rividor a tightly scoped access role, under your approval and logging. We install the platform there and keep it updated. Updates are delivered as signed releases that your environment pulls in, so no inbound access needs to be opened. Our engineers reach the system only through your access process, and all are US persons.
Good fit when your data must stay inside your own security boundary, but you do not want to operate the application yourself. Pricing is a platform license plus a management fee. Infrastructure is billed to you by your cloud provider.
4. Self-hosted on prem (your environment, run by your team)
Your team installs and operates Rividor entirely within your own environment. Rividor supplies the software and supports you.
How it works. We provide versioned releases: signed software packages with a software bill of materials, deployment templates, and guides for installation, upgrades, backup and troubleshooting. Releases ship on a regular schedule, typically monthly or quarterly. We support the current and previous release. Installations without internet access are possible; some features that rely on external services, such as AI assistance, may then be limited or need your own approved provider.
Good fit when policy requires that no outside party operates the system, for example in air-gapped or highly restricted environments. New features arrive less often than in the hosted options. Pricing is a platform license with support.

Choosing an option
If you can keep your sensitive data (such as ITAR or CUI) outside of Rividor, we highly recommend the multi tenant option because it offers the best experience. It is covered by Rividor’s security program, needs no maintenance or oversight from your team, gets the fastest support and issue resolution, and receives new features first.
If there is no way to keep export-controlled (ITAR) or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) out of Rividor, then you’ll need to choose “Managed on prem” or “Self-hosted on prem”, which keep it within an authorized boundary.
Before choosing, we suggest a short call with your IT and security team to confirm your data classification and requirements, as well as options on how to keep sensitive data out of Rividor. We will then recommend an option and include its scope and pricing in your order form. To set one up, email info@rividor.com.
